Welcome!
thank you for visiting my online home. I am running for Fairfield City Council because I believe we need someone in office that will represent the people – not a political party.I believe that most Californians are not on the extreme right or the extreme left. Most Californians are sensible, hard-working people with dreams of being able to support their family, retire comfortably, and leave a better, stronger California for their children.
Government no longer seems to be of the people and for the people, but morphed into a machine that supports corporate agendas and power. Get to know me, where I’ve been, and where I stand on the issues. I believe that my neighbors in Fairfield are reasonable, diligent people too, and need someone to raise their voice on the City Council.
There is hope for a government beholden to its citizens and not its corporations. And there is an opportunity to do some real good on behalf of all Fairfield residents.
If you feel the same way, please support me, Gino VanGundy, for Fairfield, California City Council!

10.22.2009 -
Gino VanGundy seeks to unite community and
have a strong development plan for
businesses to come to build in Fairfield.
Hoping that residents will someday change the way they think about Fairfield, Gino VanGundy wants to be a part of that change by serving on the City Council. "A strong community is what the youth need," he said. "Not one that is transient and disconnected." One way to see a connected city, VanGundy said, is to have a strong development plan for businesses to come to build in Fairfield. "It's not going to happen overnight," he acknowledged. "But I like it here. I have the responsibility to make a difference and to make a difference in my own back yard." VanGundy said he invites everyone to ask him questions and he will answer them personally. »

Help Us Take Back California
The structure of politics is changing. I’m
running a campaign to further that change.
By engaging people across all party lines,
we will explode predictable thinking,
challenge the status quo of the party
machines, commit to a plurality of
viewpoints, and in doing so, find the
solutions required to tackle the challenges
facing everyone in Fairfield, and our great
state. Rather than
reinforcing the individual parties’ control
of the political process, we need to
reinforce the people’s control of the
political process.
Our campaign is about giving that control back to the people.
Our campaign is about giving that control back to the people.
